What unit is this?

The article asserts that brown dwarves are "balls of hydrogen and helium with masses $<0.08M_{\odot }$". Okay, fine, but what the heck is a $M_{\odot }$? Megagram? Moon's mass? Some other (presumably large) amount of mass? Nibios (talk) 14:52, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Is a black hole baryonic?

Black holes should not be considered baryonic dark matter. There is no difference between a black hole made from WIMPs and a black hole made from hydrogen atoms. Zakbas (talk) 18:53, 16 March 2015 (UTC)
