Context

There doesn't appear to be any mention of a place named "Barnes Branch" in North Carolina. There is a stream by that name, but this article does not appear to be about a stream. The name may have been made up by the locals to refer to a particular place, but with no evidence that anybody but locals use the name, it doesn't really merit a Wikipedia article. There are certainly fundamental issues with this article but there is enough context to make WP:A1 deletion inappropriate. A WP:AFD nomination looks a reasonable way forward since this would attract greater attention. Just Chilling (talk) 18:04, 8 June 2016 (UTC)
