Querying the title of this page. Surely if the name refers to the barebones of parliament, it should be "Barebones' Parliament". I'm going to change, but fell free to change back if you strongly disagree. I won't scream wheel-war!

The most recent historian of the Parliament, Austin Woolrych, opts for Barebone's for two reasons. First, the Parliament is named after Praise-God Barebone, so it should be a singular possessive. Secondly, the spelling of Barebone's Parliament was the most common contemporary usage. See Austin Woolrych, "Commonwealth to Protectorate" (Oxford, 1982), p.166. If you look in the edit history for the article you will see that I moved the page from its original title of Barebones Parliament for this reason. Greycap (talk) 11:40, 22 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
