MERGE into ballpoint pen article?

i did not author this article, but i recently did the one major revision resulting in it's current state. i'm preparing further content for this subject matter BUT, before making any revisions here, i've come to question the necessity of this article on its own, and i wonder if it should simply be merged into the ballpoint pen article (which i believe is where most of the original content came from in the first place). i'd then make my revisions to it within the ballpoint pen article. thoughts anyone?

• re-naming option: Ballpoint pen artwork replacing ballpoint pen drawing, also to be (re)directable from existing ballpoint pen sub-category ballpoint pen as art medium. i am currently sitting on a (for now initial) rewrite of this article pending the outcome of the discussion — Preceding unsigned comment added by Penwatchdog (talk • contribs) 15:17, 31 May 2012 (UTC)

request NEW NAME

after all, i think renaming this article may be best, to: "Ballpoint pen artwork." With a redirect/link from the Ballpoint pen section "(ballpoint pen) as art medium." something like "Main article: Ballpoint pen artwork" ...would try it myself but still unsure of such procedures.Penwatchdog (talk) 04:18, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

• You can rename the article by moving it. All you do is move Ballpoint pen drawing to Ballpoint pen artwork and include the talk page in the move. You can find out how to do that at Wikipedia:Moving a page#How to move a page
• You can add a Main article: link at Ballpoint pen#As art medium by adding {{Main|Ballpoint pen artwork}} at the top of that section of the article.

Placing the {{main}} template is a great idea. (And at the top of this talk page should be the placed {{summary in}})

If you are unsure about moving the page (or better saying to which location), then request a disccusion here by placing {{subst:requested move|NewName}}. The whole process is described at WP:RM#Requesting a single page move.
