Changes edit
The article had many problems: weak definitions, links to other pages disguised as references, examples inadequately explained, general lack of reliable secondary references... There is still more to do here, but at least most of the basics are in line with published work. I refrained from the temptation to get into the way the sex ratio is balanced, but maybe that, too, should go in. Some of the content is also covered in other pages, but that's normal for WP.
