Maps edit

Why we need two different maps if the first ma shows the whole route of the pipeline and the second one only the Georgian section? I propose to preserve only the first one.Beagel (talk) 19:58, 13 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

The second map was added to show a more detailed view of the pipeline as it passes through Georgia, which is, as the last sentence of the History section now indicates, militarily-contested in the war in South Ossetia. It is also the case that the second map base layer shows much more city-level detail to help one ascertain the pipeline route. N2e (talk) 20:09, 13 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

The Length edit

The length of the pipeline seems to be average: 830 km in the article while the Azeri source says 837 km. I think the best way would be to refer to the operator's website where it is at 833 km. I am changing it to BP's information. Please make your suggestions if you think otherwise. Tuscumbia (talk) 21:14, 12 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
