CRIPPLEWARE - plus, I am strongly in doubt this is still GPL edit

Apart from legal technicalities - I doubt this software still qualifies as free and GPL. The link leads to a commercial site selling serial numbers to users who want to export their 3D creations to file. So it is crippleware. A not very obvious link (one might call it well hidden) leads to a download-page where supposedly you can download a GPL-version (community edition), including sources. However, to use the link you need to register an account, so you pay with your mail-address. All this does not seem very free to me - so I would suggest to remove AutoQ3D from the free-software section. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.226.48.64 (talk)

Homepage wrong edit

The homepage listed (autoq3d.ecuadra.com) isn't responding. Is that the right URL? --Gronky 15:00, 19 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

The server seems to be experiencing problems: within a few seconds I could/couldn't load pages from the site.20:12, 22 September 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.201.106.156 (talk)

The homepage listed (autoq3d.ecuadra.com) works now. But it is not clear if this is the official home site. Extra suspicion is raised because 'ecuadra.com' shows only an empty page. (see "Still GPL?" below). (Lcla (talk) 17:47, 14 August 2009 (UTC))Reply

Still GPL? edit

Is the program in its current form still GPL? With a quick browsing on their homepage I only found information on "buy a license" - have they ditched the GPL version or forked a commercial version? --piksi (talk) 16:27, 22 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

The referenced website seems to be commercial, except for a downloadable "Community Version" with sources. These source files refer to "GNU General Public License". It may be appropriate to modify the page to make clear the main license is not GPL, but commercial, plus the existence of a "Community Version" which is GPL. No references edit

Is this article okay as it is? I think it needs to be expanded with good sources cited. Mejorasi723 (talk) 13:59, 28 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
