Merge from Postal service in Australia
The "postal service in Australia" article does not have much content that is not already covered in Australia Post#History or Postage stamps and postal history of Australia#Postal history. There is no need for three articles that cover the same information. If this is intended to be a longer main article on postal history in Australia, then it should be so-named and could start with copying over information from the other two articles, and the corresponding articles on the colonies.
The article begins with "The postal service of Australia refers to the history of the provision of postal services in Australia.", which doesn't make sense. --62.189.73.197 (talk) 10:43, 23 December 2013 (UTC)
On 28 and 30 January 2016 another editor expanded Postal service in Australia with citations (which I've fixed!) so that it even more closely resembles this article. I've subsequently merged in relevant content missing from this article,[1] and redirected it here. --AussieLegend (✉) 07:48, 30 January 2016 (UTC)
