Talk:Australia's Next Top Model season 7

Well... edit

I believe that this page would benefit from detailed summaries and credible sources. Why/how/were the top 20 revealed? Adding past tense to events that have already happened, would create consistency within the article- and it would be much more reliable and easier to read. Keep in mind that you need to be as detailed as possible. Vague descriptions are probably not helpful to those who don't have instant access to the cycle that is about to air. Anyway, thank you guys for reading!

Looks like some IP editor was doing a copypaste job. I tried to fix as much as i could to make a more stable version, but the article still needs a lot of work. 98.206.38.163 (talk) 00:57, 17 November 2011 (UTC)Reply

Model names edit

The use of model names should be parallel to that of the OFFICIAL WEBSITE of AUSTRALIA'S NEXT TOP MODEL CYCLE 7. Eg. ELIZABETH not LIZ, JESS not JESSICA. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 112.201.231.95 (talk) 13:14, 22 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

Semi-Finallists edit

Hi, I am user Es.ntp. I wonder whether we should use a color for 4 girls who were not qualified to be a part of cast because their names are still called by Sarah. I suggest using   THISTLE in these cases. Does it sound right?? I wanna discuss because VNTM Cycle 2 will feature some girls those will be in the same situations. Thank you. OK. I will add   MEDIUM PURPLE which the girl was not qualified and won the challenge. ApprenticeFan work 07:51, 24 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
Very quick response. I highly appreciate it. Thank you very much for new colors. ♥ TanPhat Nguyen talk- -contrb 13:01, 24 August 2011 (UTC).Reply
I do not think the semifinalists should be listed on the COO table given they never are on any top model show. Hence new colours are totally unnecessary for these scenarios (didn't we try to avoid having too many of them? As you can see on Britain's Next Top Model, Cycle 5 where the last elimination prior to the finals was also held in a classic way the semifinalists weren't listed either and I do see no reason why they should be here. It was another judging room and is clearly set apart from the one that started with the top 16. Shameless (talk) 16:02, 31 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
I have been regarding on Vietnam's Next Top Model, Cycle 2 article and there is still the semi-finals table appearing on call-out order table and its really unnecessary. Can it please remove it and it's not officially in the finalist list. You are right Shameless on your research. ApprenticeFan work 17:31, 31 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
Watch BNTM 5 and compare with AusNTM 7 & VNTM 1, it is different. In BNTM 5, the girls were eliminated at the bootcamp far far away from the main judging room while AusNTM 7 & VNTM 1 eliminations for final took place in the main judging room. Moreover in VNNTM 1, semifinallists were fading out in the group shot after being eliminated and we just have promo picture of Top 18 (including semifinallists) and Top 13 (excluding 2 finallists eliminated). Those are the very strong reasons for me to propose the new color. New color is necessary. TanPhat Nguyen talk- -contrb 08:35, 9 September 2011 (UTC).Reply

Unnecessary change of colors in elimination tables edit

It is very much unnecessary to change colors in the elimination table to denote the same meaning. It is acceptable, however, to assign a new color for a special case in eliminations, such as a contestant being disqualified or leaving voluntarily.

I will let this be known here, but I will revert this specific change from this season here on out, specifically series 7-10. k_cms (talk) 13:48, 26 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
