Emely's Peer Review edit

I really enjoyed the pictures and the scientific classification underneath the first image. The species catagory was also helpful as the reader can visually interpret and understand how vast the species category is. It would be great if you can add pictures to each species category (if they are available) as you did with Augochlorella aurata and Augochlorella pomoniella. The links listed in your reference section work which is great. I would consider expanding your research and article in areas such as foraging patterns of Augochlorella and possibly flight patterns, and mating behavior. An interesting article I found about flight patterns of sweat bees: Flight Patterns of Three Species of Sweat Bees (Halictidae) Foraging at Convolvulus arvensis. Journal of the Kansas Entomological Society. 1979;52(4):751-758. Overall, it is aesthetically pleasing which is always a plus. --Emely.cruz24 (talk) 00:44, 16 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Organizational and content suggestions edit

About how many described species are there in this genus? Is the species list here comprehensive?

Wording is quite technical edit

In revising this article, it might be good to edit the phrasings in several sections. They read as if lifted from technical publications, and could be rewritten in simpler language without loss of meaning.Muniche (talk) 12:43, 26 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

What is recognizable about clypeus? edit

The article reads: "The most recognizable features of Augochlorella are the clypeus (shield-shaped plate of exoskeleton below the frons and above the labrum)..." Since all bees have a clypeus, what is recognizable about the clypeus of this genus?Muniche (talk) 17:36, 29 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Ecological and economic importance edit

Perhaps this section could say something general about this genus as a pollinator, and then jump into A aurata as an example.Muniche (talk) 17:38, 29 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Diet info could have its own section edit

Currently a list of plants with which this genus interacts is listed under nesting, which seems inappropriate. Perhaps adding a diet section (even if it has little information at present) would be clearer and allow future wikipedians to add more info. Muniche (talk) 17:33, 1 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
