Draft footer/navbox edit

I have created the above navbox draft based off the ones used on the Racing Point and Haas articles. I have noticed however that we have Template:Aston Martin Racing as the existing navbox, so I assume the best course of action would be to split that into the above F1 navbox and then a separate one for WEC.

No mention of the team's origin as Jordan? edit

Just how the Mercedes GP pages mentions it as a descendant of Matra/Tyrrell, surely this page should also mention how the current Aston Martin team traces its origins as Jordan? 194.207.183.182 (talk) 08:17, 24 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Don't see why not. SSSB (talk) 08:29, 24 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Page Name edit

This page should just be renamed Aston Martin F1 Team like all the other F1 teams. The page name is outdated as it dates to before Aston Martin returned to F1. 2A02:C7E:4CA5:8D00:E4E8:B0A8:D022:76B5 (talk) 11:13, 5 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

It's current title derives from the fact that it is not just about the current team. Britmax (talk) 11:20, 5 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
No it shouldn't. Firstly, "like all the other F1 teams." is just wrong. See Mclaren, Scuderia Ferrari, Alfa Romeo in Formula One, Mercedes-Benz in Formula One. Secondly, "it dates to before Aston Martin returned to F1" - that's exactly the point, it includes information about Aston Martin before they rejoined F1 in 2021, therefore renaming it would be WP:RECENTISM without effecting any of the naming WP:CRITERIA. Soffel vandorne edit

AMR just annouced stoffel as their reserve driver for 2023 94.254.230.23 (talk) 10:35, 1 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

I'll add it to the article. Test drivers are only usually mentioned in the infobox. I've added him there so that we don't miss him. But per WP:WikiProject Formula One conventions, 2023 drivers won't appear visible until after the final race of this season (2022 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix) SSSB (talk) 11:12, 1 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
