The name

The article name has been changed from the common and widespread Assam Sahitya Sabha to the current uncommon name Axom Xahitya Xabha, on the grounds that it is phonetic. It's only phonetic if you accept that 'x' is the standard representation for the sibilant, and that this representation is being used in the standard language and writing system for the state. Almost all usage is of Assam Sahitya Sabha. I propose that the name be changed back. Imc 09:52, 16 November 2007 (UTC)

• Axom Xahitya Xabha is not the standard name that this literary society uses. The standard name written in Roman script that this society uses is Asam Sahitya Sabha. Please use this name in Roman and get rid of all other names.

Use Official Name

• Use the name that Assam literary society itself uses - this is the official name.
• Multiple names are created by irresponsible Ahom people with Ahom ethnocentrism and Ahom supremicy behavioural-commonalities, for Ahom see ([2]).
