Image just added

I understand that there was some sort of related event in the Middle East, but being that the article is about the race in DC/Virginia, shouldn't the image reflect that? At the VERY least, shouldn't there be content added to the article about the race/location in the image?

It's clear from the image and its description that the United States Army is holding the Army Ten-Miler race in Afghanistan as well since they are on duty over there. So I think this article should cover such information. The image that I placed in the infobox helps improve the article as the other image is too small and has no proper description. You are free to change it any time you find a better one.--AYousefzai (talk) 04:56, 27 December 2009 (UTC)

Ok, you agree that the article should cover such information about the related race. I think that should come before adding the image. Right now it's confusing.

There's some images with the allowed copyright on flickr, but there not too good. [1]

I guess the best thing to do is to leave the image you just added and add content from this ref [2] .

No problem. This is from the Washington Post's recap of the last running of the race

A record registration of 30,000 runners filled in six days in April, and some 23,000 finished the race, making it the country's largest 10-mile race, a distinction regained after the 2008 Broad Street Run in Philadelphia edged Army's total of 18,960 finishers last year.
