Rename to "architectural photography"? edit

An architectural photographer is a practitioner of architectural photography, which has no article here and which is not explained within this article, which looked to me like a "coatrack" for spam about two recent photographers. I've removed the spam; how about renaming this to, and developing it as, "architectural photography"? -- Hoary (talk) 15:01, 6 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Makes sense. However, an administrator will have to do it. R69S (talk) 17:13, 6 February 2009 (UTC)Reply
Agree as well, so it would be time to do it. — --Elekhh (talk) 05:27, 14 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

As it stands I couldn't support such a move. The existing article is about photographers rather than photography. Suggest that material on architectural photography needs to be added immediately. It would, for example, be entirely appropriate to refactor the lead, and add sections on the theory of architectural photography and such. Then a move would be justified. • Oppose. The proposed title doesn't reflect the current article's contents. Change the article first, then move. — AjaxSmack 05:59, 16 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
    • Withdrawn move request. OK I see it does not work from bureaucratic point of view. Will replace the other redirect with content, and merge this one there. That way it will not involve the need for admin tools either. --Elekhh (talk) 09:35, 16 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Architectural photography as a separate article and naming of this article edit

I have added an Architectural photography article, as there seems to be some consensus that the topic is not the same as Architectural photographers. It would be great to get some help fleshing the article out by anyone knowledgeable about the subject, or with good research source material.

I would like to propose that the name of this article, Architectural photographers be renamed to Architectural photographer. Pluralizing occupations seems to be inconsistent with other articles about occupations (for example, [Doctor], [Plumber], [Engineer] and [Teacher]). Does anyone have objections to moving this article to Architectural photographer? MrX 14:45, 1 September 2011 (UTC)Reply
