Is a list of "Destination Stopped" relevant? Why only Seoul? Why not Noumea, Okinawa, Tinian too? User:75.19.39.53 10:58, 3 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Are US50-bound flight international or domestic? Are there separate international and domestic halls in the passenger terminal? Are passengers from the 50 states (and the D.C.) required to pass through immigration and customs clearance? User:219.76.91.182 08:00, 9 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Depends. No. Customs, but not immigration. See Guam article. Thanks for your questions which reminded me such information should be here too. HkCaGu (talk) 11:47, 9 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Contiental flights to houston! edit

Contiental flights to houston via Honolulu every day The route is Guam- Honolulu- Houston- Honolulu - Guam.

It is Continental flight 1

Passengers traveling from Guam to Houston did not change planes during the stop at Honolulu only remains on the plane for 50 minutes only.

Check it at www.continental.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.1.177.233 (talk) 15:44, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

There is really no Guam-Houston service. The Guam-Honolulu leg is operated by Continental Micronesia. The Honolulu-Houston leg is operated by Continental Airlines. Passengers on CMI1 PGUM-PHNL have to deplane at PHNL, collect baggage, go through customs, go through airport security, and board COA1 with a different flight & cabin crew. Although it is the same aircraft, it is not nonstop service and the transition at PHNL is not seamless. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 38.100.147.146 (talk) 17:34, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Comment above should read "CMI2" and "COA2", as it is eastbound that requires customs and TSA. If you check the gate numbers carefully, you may find that it isn't even the same aircraft. HkCaGu (talk) 19:01, 9 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thats is completly FALSE all flights from Guam to the United States or From the United States to GUAM has special departure gate at the Airport. All flight are DOMESTIC SERVICE when the plane arrives in Honolulu people did not has to pass throw Inmigration and Customs is the same thing like Puerto Rico.
What is your source on that? I flew PGUM-PHNL-KIAH a couple months ago and went through customs in Honolulu. Additionally, the article you're discussing even explains, "departing passengers on the Honolulu-bound flight (currently the only Stateside departure) go through a normal USCBP customs inspection upon arrival."
Last I checked most thru flights require all of the passengers to get off the aircraft and the airline brings on a new crew. JAL has NRT-JFK-GRU where the flight stops in JFK and everyone gets off and has to go through customs, collect baggage, go through security. During the time, the aircraft is serviced and a whole new crew gets on.Spikydan1 (talk) 06:10, 11 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Destinations-Chicago edit

Who keeps putting Chicago BACK in to the destinations list, it's above as valid as putting Houston in there. Consensus to remove it please?? --unsigned by 75.5.3.22

Please see WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT. HNL-IAH was by Continental while GUM-HNL was by Air Mike, therefore disqualified. Now GUM-HNL and HNL-ORD are both by United using the same type of aircraft. HkCaGu (talk) 17:25, 20 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
Also, HNL is not a United hub and it is mostly 96% same gate also. Snoozlepet (talk) 19:30, 20 February 2012 (UTC)Reply
I, at one point, also took down Chicago as a destination, but I just reviewed access that I have to the UA system. The GUM-HNL-ORD flight no. 200 not only is not a change of aircraft type in HNL but also is officially listed as no change of aircraft. Looking back over a few dates, what is done in practice reflects also reflects this; the very same aircraft is used for both segments, and therefore, I would now have to say that Chicago should be included. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.247.163.55 (talk) 21:23, 3 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

However, we cannot put Guam as a destination at the O'Hare Airport page. United flight no. 300 flies ORD-HNL but HNL-GUM is flown by different United flight numbers with 777 aircraft. Snoozlepet (talk) 03:25, 18 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Strongly suggest Chicago should NOT be included in this list. Only nonstop destinations make sense for any given airport. Just because a "flight number" or even a non-airplane-change flight exist means nothing in terms of listing an airport's destination. It's simply dishonest. You CAN NOT fly from GUM to Chicago or Houston without a stop, therefore neither should be listed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:304:CF62:EB49:225:FF:FE45:61D6 (talk) 05:57, 11 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

You are wrong. Many years of discussion and consensus making at WP:AIRPORT-CONTENT have ruled out a "nonstop only" philosophy. This talk page is not a correct forum for discussing that issue. HkCaGu (talk) 06:06, 11 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
By now looking at united.com, GUM-HNL-ORD now operate with different flight numbers with GUM-HNL as UA200 and HNL-ORD as UA218. Therefore I have removed ORD as a destination. 68.119.73.36 (talk) 19:51, 9 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

I have removed Houston since that flight no longer operates under the same plane/flight number via HNL. GUM-HNL is pmUA 777 while HNL-IAH is pmCO 764. 68.119.73.36 (talk) 02:32, 18 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Edit Request on July 20, 2015 edit

Can some add "ends September 26, 2015" to Cairns and "ends September 30, 2015" to Seoul-Incheon for United Airlines as both of those routes are ending. Source: http://airlineroute.net/2015/07/20/ua-gum-sep15/. 97.85.113.113 (talk) 04:45, 20 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Boundaries of Tamuning/Barrigada changed edit

I found census maps of Tamuning and Barrigada (they are under "county equivalent" in the US Census Bureau, not under "place")

This means a portion of the airport, including the former terminal (a.k.a. former CO Mike HQ, now a United Airlines ticket office), was moved from Tamuning to Barrigada.

I found this map of Guam which indicates the airport, but I want to see if there's a definitive map of the villages + the airport boundary to make this clearer?
