Overall this article is good, though I have a couple concerns:

• I found a couple places where commas were needed.
• Make sure numbers under 10 are spelled out (i.e. "first man in history to run a competition mile in under 4 minutes")
• Quotes need to be directly referenced (paragraph three of Managing editor)

I fixed the first two, though the third needs to be modified. Just do that and I'll pass the article as a GA. Not gonna bother putting it on hold since it's just a little thing to fix. Wizardman _{Operation Big Bear} 04:29, 13 September 2010 (UTC)

Hey, just a quick question on the quote you need referenced. I can't find any direct quotes not currently unambiguously referenced. Could you tell me what text needs the cite? If it is availible online, I can dig it out today. If it needs the book, I'll need to wait till I get home, since I am on vacation today. The one in question is 'In 1964, he asked Jule Campbell, then a fashion reporter for Sports Illustrated, to "go to some beautiful place and put a pretty girl on the cover" of that year's "Fun in the Sun" issue.' Wizardman _{Operation Big Bear} 15:27, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
