Rewrite and Removed COI tag - March 2013 edit

Article was tagged COI, but without any explanation of offending sections as explained in Template:COI. I went through the entire article and edited it so that it reflects a neutral POV, and removed the COI tag. --Smithderek2000 (talk) 00:54, 28 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

2022 updates edit

Wolfminnie responding to your email:

Hello there:

Not sure why you opted to counter the Anaren page edits I made earlier today: Should not the page be current?

Anaren was sold by Veritas in 2017 / absorbed by TTM (ref/source was supplied); the acquisition in effect eliminated Anaren, Inc.; as such there is no top management of Anaren any longer (Larry is a friend of mine...and now retired); it is not a privately held company; and so on... The whole page (which I originally wrote) should be re-rendered in past tense.

In any event, I haven't time or inclination to protest your edits beyond this brief note... Was just trying to put things right.

The page should be updated if it is not accurate. However, you removed large sections of the article that gave a lot of information about what the company did. I saw no reason to gut the article like that. More minor changes such as: Anaren manufactures high-volume to Anaren manufactured high-volume would have been sufficient. Your editing also removed reference definitions that were still used elsewhere in the article (see the RED errors in the ref section). We generally preserve infoboxes to represent the company as it was at the time it "ended" - just utilizing |fate= and |defunct= to show its closure. MB 15:36, 17 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
