I've reverted the recent edit changing this page into a redirect to Clipper (electronics). The target article does not discuss this term. More than that, it only discusses passive circuits clipping one level. A slicer, as discussed in this article, clips both an upper and lower bound and is usually based around an active amplifier. I'm not saying these articles can't be merged, but it needs to be done a bit more thoughtfully than a simple redirect. SpinningSpark 16:18, 30 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
