Overly positive / incomplete? edit

It is common to find possible side effects in wikipedia pages about a drug. This page seems odd in comparison to other drug pages as it almost sounds like an advert. Can anyone with better knowledge about this category of pages take a look? Vexorian (talk) 23:59, 10 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

The European Medicines Agency describes some side effects at https://www.ema.europa.eu/en/news/prac-considers-risk-severe-allergic-reactions-ambroxol-bromhexine-containing-medicines-be-small
The New Zealand Medicines and Medical Devices Safety Authority (Medsafe) recommends that bromhexine/ambroxol “should only be used in adults and children six years of age and over.” https://www.medsafe.govt.nz/safety/EWS/2015/BromhexineOrCodeine.asp
I was surprised that such warnings were not mentioned in the article. Wjros (talk) 19:56, 15 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Moved from article edit

I have moved the following content here because it lacks context/explanation and is based on a blog source. If anyone wants to use it to improve the article, here it is. -- Ed (Edgar181) 20:48, 3 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
