Amapiano originates from South Africa. Amapiano emerged from the townships of South Africa back in the 2010s, particularly in Gauteng province, but many say Amapiano was initially played at house parties, and underground parties in the Pretoria neighborhood outside of Johannesburg (J'burg) South Africa's capital

Greetings fellow Wikipedians I recently did a search on other genres in music and I noticed they had examples in the form of pictures and samples if music. I'm requesting that if anyone has at least one picture of an amapiano artist or a sample of an amapiano song/instrumental, please upload it and add it to this page, in case there is someone who would need a example to have a better understanding of the genre.

So Amapiano emerged in mid-2010? Where was Kabza when Siphiwe Tshabalala scored the jaw-dropping goal? Come on, this can't be real. Even DJ Maphorisa joined the wave in mid-2018, before Amapiano there was Gqom, if Amapiano emerged in 2010 then where does that leave Gqom? 2005?
