A "seax" is an ancient knife = which is where I stole the infomation box from before I (incompletely) changed it to be useful for this article. I must be less fallible! Victuallers (talk) 10:17, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
Perhaps not H. amphibamus
editIt might have been either of the extinct species Hippopotamus antiquus, hippopotamus major or Hippopotamus gorgops, which lived in the British isles, unlike amphibamus. FunkMonk (talk) 11:07, 4 September 2011 (UTC)
