What's the discipline policy - essential to any school? - 2010 principal weak on discipline and supporting others providing leadership in this area.
There was some union involvement in the running of the college in 2010 after some staff were not treated fairly and policies and procedures were not followed by management. Yes the managment team not always supportive of teachers disciplining the students at this organisation, certainly under the management team from 2006-2010, whether it was because the management was incompetent at times or just not interested/lazy in helping. Very difficult to maintain quality teaching and learning when managers are not up to date with the latest research into discipline and when students are treated as buddies. This does not match any research in this area.
