The mostly harmless barbarism (linguistics) of the coinage "Algo(-)rhythm

   Though not having succeeded in keeping it in my paste buffer to be duplicated verbatim on this talk page, I said in-line (roughly as follows), in the imbedded comment-markup of my contemporaneous article contrib:

The linguistic term barbarism has, i think, been largely laid to rest (probably to our general benefit, and probably by public education, blurring of class boundaries, political democracy, and cultural populism ... all of which may survive the depredations of the current CEO of the USA). Still, I was concerned that the (I think) fairly technical term "algorithm" not be deprived of its clarity (muddied as to its denotation) by the potential misconception that its ear-rhyme with "rhythm" is remotely due to any deeper connection. (And also despite its almost total lack of relevance -- though BTW i note that there is some slight (conceptual and metaphorical) mutual relevance, which might somehow be didactically useful... in the
