Talk:Alfred Noble Prize

Latest comment: 5 years ago by Risk Engineer

The prize is called the Nobel Prize. The spelling is 'Nobel', not 'Noble'!

If you had read the article carefully, you would have noticed that this is a different award unrelated to more well-known Nobel Prize. --Hdt83 Chat 21:56, 16 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

If you type "Noble Prize" into the search-bar, fully intending to get to the page about Noble Prizes, wikedia's machinery STILL insists that this is a misspelling for "Nobel" and you fall into the category of reroutes for misspellings. Perhaps one could get routed to a disambiguation page where articles on both the Nobel Prizes and the Noble Prizes are listed. But making it absolutely impossible to get to Noble Prizes by typing "Noble Prizes" is just wrong. I have to use an external search-engine to find this Noble Prize page. I am rather upset about this as I put this same note on the Nobel page a long time ago and it's still not fixed. Can somebody please leave me one of those messages that I can retrieve the next time I read wikipedia and tell me what's going on? 64.131.188.67 (talk) 15:37, 27 March 2009 (UTC)Christopher L.
