  • The police stated that Lam Liu had an inclination for violence but preferred to avoid detection Could you clarify what you mean by this? Don't most criminals want to avoid detection?
  •   Fixed The source says the following: Lam es un individuo que se maneja con bajo perfil, pero se sabe que es un sanguinario, refiere. In other words, the police believed he was a highly dangerous criminal but he was also known for keeping a low-profile. Not all criminals keep a low-prifile; those who want to be known for their violence and power will often display bold public acts of violence. This guy was the opposite.
  • "Authorities confiscated several of Lam Liu's belongings, including firearms, ammunition, bullet-proof vests and several vehicles" I think this reads better
  •   Done
  • "Lam Liu was convicted in a U.S. court" what were the charges?
  • Good question. None of the cited sources mention anything, though he was charged with drug trafficking in the U.S. I believe I've checked all public sources on the subject, except those available offline via PACER. I could check and get back to you if I find anything, but I'm always extra careful to add primary sources (like court documents) to BLP.
  • CNS news is considered a generally unreliable source per WP:RSP, so it should be removed. However, it looks like the information is supported by the other reference.
  •   Done I also want to confirm that the source cited backs up the entire sentence, too. Direct quote: Alfonso Lam Liu "El Gordo Lam" fue capturado en 2009 en los Estados Unidos cuando regresaba de Las Vegas, en compañía de una mujer riobravense.
  • Thank you for this. I have the script already but did not have it when I nominated this to GA. Great tool!
Thanks for your work on this article! It meets the GA criteria so I'm passing it. buidhe 02:15, 12 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
