An earlier example

Raymond Keene points out Réti–Spielmann Vienna 1928 as an earlier example.[1][2] We should probably mention this in the article. The arrangement of the major pieces is slightly different (the queen is in the middle), but the final position is strikingly similar. 165.189.91.148 17:21, 23 January 2006 (UTC)

It is quite a normal formation and happens in many games. If it's directed at the enemy king, the formation with the queen in the middle is generally strongest. Guido den Broeder (talk) 17:44, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Gun never fires

Since the gun never fires, it might be worth explaining the sequence that Alekhine is threatening to make, and why the rest of the game takes the form it does. Gdr 11:04, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Moves listed are not PGN Compliant

Should the moves listed out be PGN compliant? If so, please replace the 0-0 (zero-zero) to O-O (the letter O). These are a capital letter O, not numeral 0. Also replace the parenthesis: "(" and ")", with flower brackets: "{" and "}". So the final listing of moves to make it PGN compliant would be like this:

The Chessgames reference does stop on move 30 but ChessBase gives 32 moves. Bubba73 (talk), 18:28, 15 October 2009 (UTC)
