Gjakmarrja edit

Mig11, I have put a hell lot of effort on this stub page. Why do you try to second guess every word? If you take the time to visit the refernces and links provided you should understand that I have invented nothing. Every single paragraph in the text is verifiable and referenced. I have even spent a considerable amount of money on buying Diana Gellçi's book from abroad, which I intent to quote from. Now, please tell me, why such hate? Should you not feel glad that a foreigner is showing interest on Albania's customs? Regards, --Asterion 19:57, 18 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Dear User:Ilir pz, I would appreciate if you use your juvenile energy on helping to expand the article, instead deleting UNHCR verifiable reports quotes from the article. Regards, --Asterion 18:49, 20 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fellow Wikipedians, I see that this article does a great job explaining the core practices of Gjakmarrja. How could all of this knowledge be applied to the lives of Albanian people of recent times? Marioncrandle (talk) 04:49, 11 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

What if a woman was a murderer? Whether Kanun deals with such a situation? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.77.53.133 (talk) 00:00, 12 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

GjakmarrjaAlbanian blood feud – The name Gjakmarrja is not WP:RECOGNIZABLE as an article title. In most English language sources, this phenomenon is called variations of "Albanian blood feud", "blood feuding in Albania", etc. Google Scholar clearly shows more results for "Albanian blood feud" (101) than Gjakmarrja (85 excluding non-English results) and more than a thousand results discussing blood feuds in Albania [1] (t · c) buidhe 03:58, 9 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

  • Support. Current title is quite unrecognisable to most English speakers, and the scholar result shows that the proposed title is common enough to use. Maybe not the perfect title but a definite improvement. Andrewa (talk) 07:33, 16 August 2021 (UTC)Reply
