Merge edit

I am suggesting that article Air Scout be merged into this article and then Air Scout changed into a redirect to here. Air Scout is entirely about Air Scouts in the UK while this article is more international with details about Air Scouts in the USA and South Africa. The two names are very confusing, so if consensus is to leave them, I think some name changes will be required.

Please add you comments on this page and not the talk page for Air Scout. Thanks. --Bduke 10:06, 25 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Agree Merge them, will give the articles a more accurate representation of what Air Scouting is about. Jediwannabe 11:24, 26 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Merge has been done. I've just tidied it and removed the merge tags. --Bduke 00:44, 27 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Agree so I input what I know very well about Air Scouting in Hong Kong to correct the bias of talking " entirely about Air Scouts in the UK" —Preceding unsigned comment added by Airscoutmaster (talkcontribs) 03:21, 20 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Korea/Hong Kong edit

Information is also needed on Korea, and Hong Kong needs cleaned up. Chris (クリス • フィッチュ) (talk) 09:16, 16 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hong Kong edit

I have cut back this section for several reasons. It gives undue weight to one association, and the material is already at the Scout Association of Hong Kong article. More importantly the material looks to be a direct copy of the minutes cited as a reference. This is also an unacceptable reference since it is not generally available in libraries, however localised, or on the web. The material was also largely not encyclopedic. This section still needs some work to make it into a clear and concise summary of Air Scouts in Hong Kong. I suggest that the section in the Scout Association of Hong Kong be cleaned up also, but that could go into more details than the section on Hong Kong here. --Bduke (Discussion) 23:55, 7 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

This material has been added back twice now by the same editor, with no reasons given that address the above concerns. I am not the only editor who has reverted these changes, so anyone who disagrees with us should discuss it here and address the above concerns. --Bduke (Discussion) 00:25, 29 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
