I added a this tag because this article reads like a defensive rebuttal, instead of a balanced profile of this area of Ghana. While i agree that the environmental impact of e-waste seems like a real problem in Agbogbloshie, this article appears to be quite skewed toward addressing certain topics presented in the news. mattman32 (talk) 14:56, 20 March 2019 (UTC) mattman32; 20 Mar 2019Reply

The section on "information security" appears to have been inserted by a western shredding company. Those companies compete against African reuse buyers. There is no evidence that I am aware of that Agbogbloshie is in any way notable for data theft. In fact, the electronics brought back to the UK from Agbogbloshie in the Frontline documentary were shown to have been sold more than a decade earlier in a surplus property auction, evidence that the devices were used in Ghana for up to a decade before being sold for scrap.

A new book is being published November 12, "Secondhand: Travels in the New Global Garage Sale" by Adam Minter (Bloomsbury Press), with a chapter on his investigation of Agbogbloshie. Retroworks (talk) 17:17, 11 November 2019 (UTC)RetroworksReply
