The name of the magazine changed and the earlier archives back to 1929 refer to the original magazine with a similar title ("The Aeroplane"), to the current one.
"Aeroplane Monthly" was founded in 1973 as I still have a lot of the early issues, and it seems that the name has since changed to "Aeroplane Magazine". Presumably the publishers also own the rights to "The Aeroplane" and they have decided to group the archives of both magazines together. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.112.68.219 (talk) 18:39, 13 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
