JHunterJ: To avoid a stupid revert war... okay, this is really really low priority, but I don't understand your take at all on this. Do you really think a random Clark Gable film or random 1978 album is the most likely usage of this page, rather than Adventure novel, Adventure film, or Adventure game? Plus, this page nicely subdivides into categories already, which makes finding the actual item meant faster. (I should add as well that if you're going to place the Atari Adventure high up there, Colossal Cave Adventure should probably be even higher - it's at that name mostly so as not to require parenthetical disambiguation, I think, as it's generally run via simply "adventure.") Basically, I don't agree with your ranking of "likelihood of actual search term," and sticking things in categories reduces the senseless arguing over which item is more important. I think that people searching for genres are more likely to search for, say, "adventure novel" or "adventure movie" than just "adventure". People looking for something titled Adventure are more likely to search for "adventure", since there's really little else they can look for. The list isn't long enough to really need categories (although it could have them if they helped). (And it sounds like there should be a redirect Adventure (computer game) that points to Colossal Cave Adventure instead of the dab, and moved up in the list.) -- JHunterJ 10:56, 15 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
I'm with User:SnowFire on this. The removal of the section headers has taken away a lot of the readability of this list, and there's no indication at WP:MOSDAB#Longer lists that fifteen links is too few to warrant separation. I'm also grasping to see how the reordering has been done. WP:MOSDAB#Order of entries has (almost) been followed? The scattergun result (computer game, film, computer game, album, album, game, etc etc) is not to the benefit of the reader, which is the ultimate goal of WP:MOSDAB. I'd support a reversion to the old layout. --DeLarge 16:34, 15 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
I tried to make a "better" sectioning scheme; if I'm the only one who likes it, revert at will. Thanks, JHunterJ 17:27, 15 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

removal of content edit

This was removed by JHunter yesterday, but I think it needs further investigation. Just because an article doesn't exist isn't a reason to remove a dab entry.

A disambiguation disambiguates articles. -- JHunterJ 10:26, 22 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
So create the article then; don't just mindlessly delete entries. ∞ΣɛÞ² (τ|c) 13:02, 22 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Actually, the steps are, create the article then, then add it to the dab, don't just "mindlessly" add entries. -- JHunterJ 13:12, 22 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
And yet there is an entire WikiProject devoted to creating "missing encylopedic articles" while, at the same time, creating numerous lists of non-existent articles... ∞ΣɛÞ² (τ|c) 04:39, 23 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
