Generic title edit
While I see that this is a dab page, IMO all the 5-star admiral pages should link to a generic article like "5-star admiral" or "Grand admiral" (caps deliberate). Then the specific country articles can be titled "Admiral of the Fleet (UK)" or "Admiral of the Fleet of the Soviet Union" etc. That said, practice should follow established usage in historical and military texts, not just anglophone. 118.90.35.155 (talk) 04:46, 26 October 2009 (UTC)
Laksamana edit
If I might add..
In the Malaysian and Indonesian navies, the rank laksamana is a '4 star rank'. In theory, it should be available in the Royal Brunei Navy, although none has been conferred..
The equivalent '5 star rank' in the Royal Malaysian Navy is 'Laksamana Armada' which means 'Admiral of the Fleet', and has only been conferred to members of the royal families..
The 'five star rank' in the Indonesian Navy, is 'Laksamana Besar' which means 'Grand Admiral'.. 200.68.87.133 (talk) 19:53, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
