editI'm having a lot of trouble finding any reputable source with evidence that Actraiser 2 is actually a chronologic prequel. Certainly there are some plot elements that make sense if it's a prequel, but I don't think the "statue eroding" is much evidence since the statue loses its sword too, and in the original Actraiser it had a sword (plus the statues are all over the place in both games - there doesn't seem to be just one). The issue is confounded because the original U.S. SNES manual seems to recount the events of the original Actraiser without mention of the "battle in heaven", but I suppose the in-game events would be more canon. I could see it either way, but perhaps we should have a short paragraph in it indicating the plot elements that support the belief that it's a prequel. Sraan 03:17, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
Both the first Actraiser and the second say in the manual that the master defeated Tanzra before, but according to the first one's manual it was a long time ago, while the second suggests that a victory happened shortly before that one. Thus, I assume that it's refering to the first game. On a side note, due to the lack of time change, I'm assuming that this is on a different continent than the first game. This also suggests that (1) Tanzra's death turned any remaining humans back to human form and (2) Tanzra can move Death Heim's entrance similar to how the Master moves his flying temple. -DragonAtma
Spoiler
editThat image depicting the final boss battle is a spoiler. I hope someone removes it or includes another image that is not so explicit.
- It might help if you could explain how it's a spoiler. Including a screenshot of the gameplay is helpful. The end of the game is already covered by the text, so an illustration is helpful (if you're going to show the gameplay at all, it makes sense to choose something which also illustrates part of the game that's directly discussed). As far as specifically being a spoiler is concerned, I don't see what the picture 'spoils' for the reader, beyond what the boss looks like. It seems like the text itself is far more of a spoiler. Could you elaborate on your problem with the image just a bit more? Bladestorm 07:45, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
- It is a spoiler because it reveals what the final boss is. And while it doesn't have some incredible plot twist involved (AFAIK), some may like to see the boss for themselves.
- We only really need one screenshot to depict the game, and it shouldn't be a boss battle. - A Link to the Past (talk) 01:50, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- Well, what alternate image depicting gameplay do you suggest? Preferably something that relates to the text? Bladestorm 08:09, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- A picture of a sidescrolling level relates to the gameplay, obviously. - A Link to the Past (talk) 15:00, 1 September 2007 (UTC)

- Heh, I meant, can you give me a link to the picture that you prefer? :) Bladestorm 22:46, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
