How tall is it? edit

We seem to have at least two numbers, but for now we should go with the USCG/NPS value of 169 feet. Mangoe (talk) 12:29, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Considering that value, and the 172 feet listed as the height for Barnegat Light, I corrected the introduction, which claimed that Absecon was the tallest lighthouse in NJ when it is in fact second be three feet. Also, the citation of Absecon Light's height as 169 feet is supported by the Coast Guard's official page: http://www.uscg.mil/history/weblighthouses/LHNJ.asp

Cellphone tower? edit

If a cellphone base station or other telecommunications equipment is located in this lighthouse, that might be worth mentioning. Cellphone companies like to place their equipment in tall buildings, including lighthouses and church steeples. Eastmain (talkcontribs) 09:17, 1 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
