Kent Street Notability
editAnd I quote, from the notability guideline itself
Notability guidelines determine whether a topic is sufficiently notable to be included as a separate article in Wikipedia. These guidelines do not specifically regulate the content of articles, which is governed by other Wikipedia's guidelines, such as those on the reliability of sources and trivia.
One could argue that the entire listing of streets that cross a certain street is trivial, but once you've added that list, I don't see how some streets are trivial and others aren't. So I'm putting it back in. 24.69.97.165 09:11, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- I hope to see you create an article on it. Nhl4hamilton 20:01, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- Oh wait just a second. I was just looking at my Hamilton Map and there's actually a notable landmark on Kent Street. Your house right? Nice talking to you Ryan :D Nhl4hamilton 20:28, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
- Hi there. I'm not Ryan, I don't know Ryan, and a cursory check of my IP address would tell you I'm in BC, which is about as far from Kent Street as you can get while staying in Canada. A quick look at this map suggests the HAAA Grounds might be a notable landmark on Kent. But once again, I'd remind you that notability isn't the standard for inclusion of content in an article, it's the standard for inclusion of articles. Also, maybe have a look at this policy. 24.69.97.165 03:30, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
- That's Great! Can't wait to see you complete the "Kent Street" article. Nhl4hamilton 03:39, 15 May 2007 (UTC)
