An Alistair Maclean copy with future elements? Given the elaborate analysis of the novel including an inconclusive section on 1990s technology and an extensive character list in the current article, this work by Galouye cannot be on the trivial level of Maclean. Unfortunately, I have not read the novel myself, but have to do so soon. Usually, the plots of Galouye go far beyond common story telling and rather question the foundations of our reality, or at least the realities that will become. I think he is one of the best and most underestimated writers of science fiction, equal to the great, more productive, but somehow unfocused Philip Dick. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Peter goettig (talkcontribs) 02:44, 13 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
