The following paragraph was removed from the article as it does not make sense. Someone who knows about this book may be able to rewrite it.

The basic theme is his home country board in a ironic and satirical way due to is detachment of it, in his childhood. That seni-foreign vision filled with humor, trying to understand it at all cost - but in vain - and always loving it patriotically in a contradiction that he fights kindly in vain, gives to the reader a comic and imparcial view of Portugal even if, some times, it's very close to the reality.
