Inexplicable deletion of talk page edit

For the life of me I can't comprehend why MZMcBride would delete this Talk Page, claiming that it was a "test edit" page. But she did, on 23 January 2008. If the talk page contains improper text, then that text should be fixed rather than deleting the entire talk page. I imagine it probably contained something that she didn't like which provoked an abuse of her admin tools by her... oh well. If MZMcBride reads this, don't be deleting Talk Pages. Fix them or move on. Joe Hepperle (talk) 05:46, 16 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Tower Location edit

Uncertain, but GPS says the actual tower is located at 42°24′2.32″N 91°50′38.66″W / 42.4006444°N 91.8440722°W / 42.4006444; -91.8440722 in the United States. First location stated is not on transmitter site property. 12.219.7.4 03:15, 1 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Both the locations are definitely on the transmitter property. They are about 100 feet apart. The location you gave here is smack-dab in the middle of the building there on the property. But the tower is not on the building. Instead, the tower itself is behind (East of) the building. Here is an aerial picture of the tower property, service building, and a big long shadow of the 1,999 feet tall tower (NW-SE dark line). The location you gave is right on top of the building but we can see the shadow of the tower stretches to behind (East of) the building. Joe Hepperle (talk) 06:17, 16 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
