The death of William Oakley (R.N.A.S 763 Squadron )Flight log book edit

It is with sad regret that I have to inform you of the death of a member of 763 Naval Air Squadron. Bill was a Telegraphist / Assistant Gunner. Effective from 12-3-1945. Bill lived to the ripe old age of 97 years old. He died on 27th January 2023. The reason for contacting you is that I have found his Flight log book ( which is for Aircrew other than Pilot)that make for some interesting reading. And would like it to go to an air museum preferably connected to his regiment. He was stationed in Canada and Australia. He flew in Swordfish, Anson, T.B.F Avenger, Expediter, York, Dakota and Liberator aircraft. Please advise, I live near Falcon Field Air Museum in Mesa Arizona. If I do not hear back from yourselves I will take it there. 70.162.60.27 (talk) 17:46, 2 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
