On the other hand, there are three other squadrons that have held this designation (the 31st Reconnaissance Squadron (Fighter), the 31st Reconnaissance Squadron (Night Photographic) and the 31st Reconnaissance Squadron, Very Long Range (Photographic)) each of which is arguably more notable. So far as I can tell, neither the 31st Reconnaissance Squadron (Fighter) nor the 31st Reconnaissance Squadron (Night Photographic) has a Wiki article. I think the 31st Reconnaissance Squadron, Very Long Range (Photographic)) is the most notable unit to hold this designation.
