Can anyone point out the fuse/trigger mechanism employed by the 22mm grenade when fired from (for example) the M7 grenade launcher for the M1 Garand? Was this a timed fuse, or an on-impact trigger? In the second case, what amount of force was required to set one off? It would obviously need to be greater than the force of the blank cartridge propelling it, but what would the risk of an on-barrel detonation be say, firing off the back of a rapidly decelerating vehicle? — Preceding unsigned comment added by DeadliestPrawn (talk • contribs) 13:37, 13 June 2012 (UTC)
