Talk:2024 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League

Results by round table. edit

A few days ago, I created a table showing when teams won/lost and their form during the tournament. I created it because I felt it would be useful and many other articles in other sports use a similar table due to its usefulness. Also, it will indicate who is in good form in each week, which I think could be an interesting piece of information to have without having to manually look yourself.

In the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, I was supporting Thailand and I could've done with a results by round table because I would always have to look at each pool and learn myself about where they got their wins from since I became interested in the competition after week 1.

I always believe in the more info, the better, and I personally think that the table is useful and adds something to the article.

However, somebody keeps on deleting the table I put effort on and called it unnecessary and irrelevant. But, so far, I don't think there is a general consensus that the table is useless. So I would like to ask people what there opinion is on the table and if it should be included or not because to me, this table is really useful in my opinion. While it's a deletion-discussion argument, the logic of WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS applies here. I know you put it in 2024 Men's European Volleyball League and 2024 Women's European Volleyball League doesn't mean it needs to be done everywhere. Also other user already told you that round by round tables are already deprecated. 98πšƒπ™Έπ™Άπ™΄πšπ™Έπš„πš‚ β€’ [πšƒπ™°π™»π™Ί] 21:41, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I understand your point, however I disagree due to the facts I mentioned above and it shouldn't be deleted yet because there is no consensus yet on if it should stay or not. Right now, it is one opinion for and one opinion against. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 21:53, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Other editor told you in Help desk about BRD: "..not restoring the content in the reverted edit until a discussion is concluded or there is no response to the discussion for a while.." so why re-adding? If feels like the action you do is you don't want to understand what BRD and STATUSQUO is. 98πšƒπ™Έπ™Άπ™΄πšπ™Έπš„πš‚ β€’ [πšƒπ™°π™»π™Ί] 22:03, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
No one can make a decision on the table if you delete it, you know that so that's why you are deleting it over and over again. You are acting authoritarian (which is not the spirit of Wikipedia) by repeatedly deleting the table without a general consensus. Once again it is your opinion versus mine so stop deleting it. The more info, the better. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 22:17, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
It's not deleting but reverting as consensus is not yet reach and have some civility and don't false accuse me of "acting authoritarian" as I see it as a personal attack. 98πšƒπ™Έπ™Άπ™΄πšπ™Έπš„πš‚ β€’ [πšƒπ™°π™»π™Ί] 22:31, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I didn't like you saying the table is unnecessary and irrelevant but you didn't care. Don't play the victim now. You are the one deleting my work and made me worry about being banned by giving me responses warning me about that (which I now know was a baseless sentence since you have no power over that). In my opinion, you are acting authoritarian. I don't mean it as a personal attack, but that's my opinion. ILoveSport2006 (talk) 22:43, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

This is classic WP:NOTSTATS teritory. The article is absolutely filled with every single result and score. It's just not necessary. Lee Vilenski (talk β€’ contribs) 16:11, 23 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
