First off, why is this article built on election boxes when we're many weeks away from the reporting of any election results, with no meaningful content beyond that? Second, {{Historical election article}} exists for a reason, though it seems to be widely ignored or violated these days. If someone filed for the office but is not a candidate right this minute, you don't act as if they were never a candidate. That's fucking Common Sense 101.
