Talk:2024 Alaska House of Representatives election

What a clusterfuck

edit

First off, why is this article built on election boxes when we're many weeks away from the reporting of any election results, with no meaningful content beyond that? Second, {{Historical election article}} exists for a reason, though it seems to be widely ignored or violated these days. If someone filed for the office but is not a candidate right this minute, you don't act as if they were never a candidate. That's fucking Common Sense 101. The structure of the article seems to have provided some editors with an excuse to engage in such behavior. RadioKAOS / Talk to me, Billy / Transmissions 21:24, 7 July 2024 (UTC)Reply

Party vs. Coalition/Caucus in Infobox

edit

Rolled back WP:BOLD edit for the same reason as the 2022 article. Hopefully the discussion at Talk:2022 Alaska House of Representatives election#Coalition/Caucus vs. Party in the Infobox can establish consensus for how to handle this. —Carter (Tcr25) (talk) 13:02, 18 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
