Orphaned references in 2020 AFC U-23 Championship qualification
editI check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of 2020 AFC U-23 Championship qualification's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
Reference named "draw":
- From 2016 AFC U-23 Championship: "AFC U23 Championship Qatar 2016 draw concluded in Doha". AFC. 12 September 2015.
- From 2018 AFC U-23 Championship: "AFC U-23 Championship China 2018 groups revealed in Changzhou". AFC. 24 October 2017.
- From 2018 AFC U-23 Championship qualification: "AFC U-23 Championship 2018 hopefuls learn their opponents". AFC. 17 March 2017.
I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT⚡ 09:32, 23 May 2018 (UTC)

As of now 12:52 EST Qatar-Oman game is in progress and Oman is not eliminated. If a tie or loss, Oman is eliminated but that has not happened yet. I am the one who restored Q for Syria and Iranians' messing with editing should stop. Oman are not eliminated and there is no excuse for putting E there. And Likewise either Bahrain or Palestine are eliminated but the match is not over. Some math idiot erased Q from Syria again. Stop if you are stupid in math. P.S. Syria have the same score against either of the 2 3-4 finishers so they qualified with +2 GD and 3 goals.

- Yes. Not eliminated yet Hhkohh (talk) 16:56, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
- Oman is not eliminated but the second team from that group is eliminated. So if the Oman wins Qatar is eliminated, otherwise Oman is eliminated. Also Syria has qualified for the next round only Tajikistan is at jeopardy. Stop editing Syria.Shab911 (talk) 17:04, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
- Shab911, why Syria is qualified? The runners-up in group A still can be qualified because we do not know who is the third place Hhkohh (talk) 17:11, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
- Shab911, if Nepal is in third place and Qatar is in second place, so? Hhkohh (talk) 17:13, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
- Hhkohh, That only would happen if Qatar loses against Oman. If so Qatar only have 3 points (4th place not included) with whatever GD which is lower than the 4 points that Syria has Shab911 (talk) 17:19, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
- Shab911, Checking... Hhkohh (talk) 17:22, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
- Shab911, you are right Hhkohh (talk) 17:24, 26 March 2019 (UTC)

Oman's group's 2nd place finisher is eliminated but Oman are not eliminated yet. So if you want to put E it should be next to "group A" not Oman. Stop editing if you are stupid. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.196.188.173 (talk) 17:42, 26 March 2019 (UTC)
