3% threshold?

Has there been any change of law or political discussion regarding the introduction of an electoral threshold? The EP has requested member states to introduce a threshold of 3-5% for the 2019 EP elections (see e.g. [1] in German), which would only require action from Spain and Germany. Spain already has a 3% regional threshold in national elections, but a national threshold would exclude most regional/"nationalist" parties... (FWIW, the new German government has not made any moves toward introducing an EP threshold yet, either.) --Roentgenium111 (talk) 09:06, 14 April 2018 (UTC)

Electopanel/electomania

As opinion polling, they'll obviously stay. Their method is not dissimilar to that used by some pollsters (i.e. IMOP). Further, they are frequently reported in reliable sources, which strengthens their inclusion. would like to highlight that just because some entries may not be liked by some people does not mean they should be removed; we should respect WP:VERIFY and WP:NPOV. Numer of MEPs

As I understand it, the frame in the Decree calling the election is somewhat like: 54 MEPs will be elected. Once the UK is out the JEC will proclaim 5 more electees. I wonder if that is the narrative the article should follow instead of the current one--Asqueladd (talk) 13:36, 2 April 2019 (UTC)

Add results for Actúa and Izquierda en Positivo?

The European Spring campaign website claims the following:

"Spain has a common candidates list — votes from both parties will be added up so it doesn't matter for which one you vote." [2]

Is there any truth to this claim? I can't find that claim anywhere else.

Hmm I don't know what is that source but no other source adds Actúa and IZQP, nor is it very clear what does that link actually meant, so they should stay separate obviously. Impru20^talk 21:42, 28 May 2019 (UTC)

The source is a campaign website for DiEM25, which both parties are affiliated to. It's not very clear to me what they mean either. The candidate lists are very different, so I'm not sure what would be "common" between them. I thought I'd ask here in case anyone has more information.--JECE (talk) 19:51, 29 May 2019 (UTC)

Why smearing them? Stop sounding like communist propaganda and start to become objective again. How about a credible term like "national-conservative"?
