- I think for teams that are knocked out in the semi-finals, AFC only looks at the semi-final results, so North Korea is ranked higher than Japan, because North Korea lost on penalties while Japan lost 2-4. Same for teams that are knocked out in the quarter-finals: OMA (lost on penalties) > UAE (lost 0-1) > UZB (lost 0-2) > VIE (lost 0-5). Chanheigeorge (talk) 07:55, 29 September 2017 (UTC)
