Did Labour win from SNP, or take an Independent seat?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Bill Walker expelled from the SNP while sitting as an MSP? Thereafter he sat as an "independent Nationalist". --86.133.249.101 (talk) 20:01, 1 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

It is usual practice to record a win as being from the party affiliation at the time of the last (regular) election, notwithstanding any changes in party affiliation by the winner since then.Bondegezou (talk) 12:40, 2 December 2013 (UTC)Reply
