propose merge edit

This article appears to substantially duplicate 2013 NSW Bushfires. I don't have an opinion which article is better named, but clearly one should be a redirect to the other. —EncMstr (talk) 15:18, 18 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Only the small section of text in the October section duplicates the 2013 NSW Bushfires article. No need to merge but will add redirect. Hughesdarren (talk) 01:26, 19 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
Okay, it seems all is fine as is. Thanks! —EncMstr (talk) 07:56, 19 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Fatality? edit

The Infobox says one fatality, but there's no mention of it in the text. Who, what, where was it? HiLo48 (talk) 04:10, 13 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

One death is recorded in the October 2013 NSW fires (according to the article text) Hughesdarren (talk) 04:21, 13 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
Ah, OK. Sorry I missed that. Thanks. Any details? It doesn't seem to be sourced. HiLo48 (talk) 04:26, 13 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
No worries, I didn't write it and can't find any mention in the sources given. I'll chase it up after I update the WA fire stuff. Hughesdarren (talk) 04:59, 13 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
Y, as it turned out there were 2 fatalities in those fires. All updated now.Hughesdarren (talk) 05:16, 13 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Grampians fire edit

ABC Radio today reported that the number of houses lost in the Grampians fire may be as many as 32. I can't find a reliable online news source to cite for this. Hopefully something will be published online soon and this number can be updated. Davidreid (talk) 03:56, 22 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

I've updated the figures from an ABC News source, though the assessment is ongoing so a further update will probably be needed later on.--Melburnian (talk) 06:00, 22 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
