Renaming/refocusing the page edit

Greetings all.
Now that the First Round article is done, it was time we moved on to a new one. But, we can't/shouldn't make an article for each new stage. With the exception of the Finals, having a page for the next three stages would be crazy, especially in the case of the semifinals since it only covers four matches. That's why I think all stages from the Round of 16 to the finals should go into this article (the finals will still get a separate more detailed page along the lines of 2009 Copa Libertadores Finals). The problem is... what to title the page. Any ideas? Digirami (talk) 17:02, 22 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Last season there was one page for all UEFA Cup knockout rounds from the round of 32 onward. See: 2008–09 UEFA Cup final phase. I don't see a logic in separating the round of 32 from the round of 16 and the following rounds. I don't see a principal problem with any solution, whether it's one page for all the rounds or a page for each round.--Nitsansh (talk) 23:51, 2 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Well it would be wasteful (for lack of a better word) to create an article for each stage (except the finals). While essentially a big knockout tournament and there are five individual stages stated in the regulations, this tournament is pretty much grouped into two principal parts: the First Stage, and everything else. This article right here should cover the everything else part. There is no formal name for it, but it does flow differently from the first stage (and i think there might be seeding involved starting from the round of 16). I don't know what to call it (the "final stages"), but I don't want to move/rename this page without consulting the other editors. Digirami (talk) 00:43, 3 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
The only difference that I see is that the round of 32 was spread over nearly 2 months...--Nitsansh (talk) 01:21, 3 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
The remainder takes about the same time (not counting the WCQ break) and is exactly the same number of games. And I think there is seeding in effect for the round of 16 onwards. I was reviewing the regulations and there is a mention of something like that if I'm reading it correctly (look at Article 5, section 6). Digirami (talk) 01:29, 3 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
