What fiasco? edit
"Because of the fiasco in 2007 of holding parliamentary (Holyrood) and local elections simultaneously". For those not familiar with Scottish politics, what was this fiasco? Snappy (talk) 21:20, 14 December 2010 (UTC)
- I suspect they mean the spoiled ballots issue covered here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_Parliament_general_election,_2007#Incidents
- There is enough confusion for Scottish voters with each level of government (local/Scottish/UK/EU) having different voting systems without asking people to use several on the same day. 99.224.110.165 (talk) 02:36, 7 May 2011 (UTC)
- I had exactly the same question. If the election is labelled a "fiasco" in wikipedia, then it should be explained what is meant by that. Obviously every election is a fiasco for some people, so it really needs to be clarified.
